Your attorney(s) can offer legal advice and help guide you through the legal maze, but more often than not, your attorney can't help you with the personal issues you'll face as the thought and possibility of prison looms.
On a crisp October day in 1995, I took 23 physical steps… opened a door… and began a new experience that was life-changing. I stepped into Federal Prison as an inmate. The experience leading up to my trial - my sentencing and those fateful steps was pressure filled for me and my family. However, I can say with certainty - IT IS SURVIVABLE!

The above statement is true. As a convicted felon, now over a decade later, I am a Senior Sales Executive in a public company (something that is highly unusual) and an inspirational motivational speaker. You can achieve success following incarceration. It is possible if you make the right CHOICES!
Over the past several years, I have found, however, that many people who are facing the possibility of prison are confused. They don't know what to do, how to face their family and friends, what, if anything they should tell their kids, and the list goes on. The reality is that it is survivable. Some people go to the internet looking for help. Most of the time by accident they have found me on the web and taken the bold step to call. They need help and guidance. They need someone to turn to.
CONSULTING SERVICES:
On a case by case basis, I consult with individuals and families who are facing this experience and want help in knowing what to expect, advice on what to do and how to proceed. Make no mistake, facing the possibility of prison is daunting and takes its toll on everyone involved. For the family, issues arise as to when and how to tell the children. For the spouse, issues arise as to whether they can trust you again and whether to continue in the marriage. For the person indicted the issues they face are daunting since life will change.
Let me be clear...I do offer consulting services to help. I am candid in what is said and offer a no nonsense approach to helping you deal with the issues that you and your family might face. Especially for first time potential inmates, I offer help so that you can better understand what to expect and how to proceed so that you can achieve a positive outcome.
Fees:
I have established a non-profit organization called the Choices Foundation. Its purpose is to spread the message of choice and consequences to young people and provide a method to fund college scholarships for those young people who have a need. Hence, any fee charged goes directly into the Choices Foundation in order to support its mission and purpose. Specific fees will be discussed after our initial consultation.
