Fake COVID Card? Say It’s Not So.

By December 16, 2021 No Comments

Fake Covid CardUnethical individuals in relative positions of power often take stances that attract other unethical people. It is if they know that they can get away with something and revel in that knowledge.

More Covid-19 Nonsense

The purpose of this particular post is not to persuade any unvaccinated person to get vaccinated. I have publicly stated my support for vaccinations and I have not budged from that position. The noise surrounding the anti-vaxx arguments in regard to the vaccine is so preposterous I have given up trying to rationally discuss the issue.

At long last, my parting comments to those who decline the vaccine is if they are willing to sign-away their right to hospitalization in case the disease overcomes them. That is all I want to know. I ask the question because people such as Tammy McDonald, R.N. are more than willing to sacrifice others for their own agendas.

Tammy McDonald has been charged by the US Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina for supplying friends and patients with a fake vaccine card. She allegedly made fake cards on two dates in the summer of 2021. When federal agents questioned her about it in October 2021, she denied she had produced the cards.

Serious Matters

What McDonald did was not only to fake the COVID card, but to identify vaccine lot numbers she specifically knew were not administered to patients. This is even more serious as states, such as South Carolina, make note of the lot numbers, and if all those receiving the cards had/are infected, the lots would have been re-examined.

According to the indictment:

“She provided CDC Covid-19 Vaccination Record Cards to individuals and had personally filled out the individuals’ identifying information and lot numbers for vaccines she knew had not been administered to those individuals.”

Tammy McDonald used her position to encourage unethical behavior on the part of others. It became a joke. The unvaccinated with a fake COVID card thought they could be free to travel or go to other venues where vaccine cards were checked. Whether local or international travel, Tammy McDonald R.N., intentionally allowed those with possible infections to affect others.

She is facing serious consequences for her choices and may be subject to serious prison time for creating fake CDC cards as well as deceiving federal investigators.

Because I Can

A blank CDC card is “useless.” Tens of millions have been created. It is when it is in the hands of a trained medical professional who actively state vaccinations, dates and lot numbers, when the cards carry weight and meaning.

To those who were more than willing to have the fake card “as jokes,” the cards were a winky-winky, insiders’ gimmick. However, to others who had been vaccinated, especially the elderly and immune-compromised, the faked cards could have proven deadly.

McDonald violated every ethical code of her profession. Perhaps those who desired cards were stupid and clueless, but it doesn’t absolve McDonald who ethically and medically knew better. No matter her personal feelings toward Covid-19 or the vaccine, once she goes from “private citizen” to R.N. she must adhere to professional standards.

She was undoubtedly able to gain access to the vaccine cards through a medical office. It is hard to not wonder what the office thinks of her at this point. I clearly know what the vast majority of healthcare professionals who must deal with Covid patients on a daily basis think of her. Until regular ethical training is required of nurses and technicians, I fear we will continue to see more of this.
